A medievalist and prosopographer whose favorite subjects are twelfth-century aristocratic families and women, the development of custom into law, and how people's actions diverged from custom and law, I've been practicing the art and craft of History as a professional for over three decades. My research focus is on England.
I also lay claim to the title 'photo-historian.' Have camera, will travel!
